The MZ07 robots from Nachi which have proved popular around the country, due to their incredible speed and sharp pricing, now have some new competition. This comes in the form of an expanded range to suit lower payload applications. Nachi have just released three new robots the MZ04 / MZ04E and MZ04EL to the MZ Series.
The MZ04 is a smaller 4kg payload robot with 541mm reach. As with all MZ robots it's lightning fast and also outstanding repeatability of ±0.02mm.
The MZ04E uses drives rated at an output no greater than 80W on each of it's axes. This means once it has been subjected to the standard risk assessments, it can be used without safety guarding.
The MZ03EL is a reduced payload version of the MZ07 with a payload of 3.5kg. The reach has been extended out to 1102mm while retaining a repeatability of ±0.03mm.
Direct teaching is a great new feature added to the range, which endables the operator to program the robot by physically manipulating the robot arm.
